Introduction of scenic spots
The city Hall is one of the oldest buildings in New York and is still fulfilling its government functions at the time of its inception. The city hall, built in 1803-1812, was incorporated into the National Historic Directory of the United States in 1966 as a national historical building. Its Peugeot Dome Hall is seen as a city landmark. Its French dome, beautifully built, has the illusion of being in the Temple of Rome. The governor’s office has become a museum, with a collection of 19th century American portraits and old furniture, such as Washington’s desk.
